We design and direct complete productions: lighting, video, audio, scenic, fabrication. A tight network of trusted partners, one person driving the creative. One point of contact. One invoice. New York, working worldwide.
Nitemind designs and directs full productions: lighting, video, audio, scenic, fabrication. Lighting is what we came up on and where we bring something no one else does. For the rest, we work with a vetted network of partners we've built over a decade, all under one creative direction. You don't assemble the pieces. We own the production, concept through load-out, so you manage one relationship, not five.
Lighting and video for artists scaling from clubs to theaters to arenas. The designer who builds the show is the one you call before doors.
Turnkey production for brand activations and festival builds on fixed budgets and hard dates. Tell us the number, the date, and the creative, and we'll tell you exactly what we can deliver against it.
Lighting design for clubs, restaurants, and hotels. Rooms people return to because the space feels right. From concept through install, or ongoing consulting for spaces that evolve.
Nitemind designed and built integrated architectural lighting for a free-standing structure put up onsite at the festival. The system ran autonomously, synchronized across multiple zones, with separate day and night modes. Six event days, two weekends. Concept, lighting design, programming, on-site operation. All in-house.
Hired by Blonded to design, program, and operate lighting for Frank Ocean's PrEP+ club series, working directly with Frank and his architect. The series ran in New York with a longer touring run planned. The pandemic cut the rest. Beyond the room's lighting design, Nitemind built an interactive laser installation routed through Frank's vintage Juno-106. Beams and mirrors arranged so each note reshaped the space.
Long-running touring collaboration across multiple cycles, growing from lighting design into full creative direction: production design, lighting, and video. Nitemind joined early in the live development and stayed as the show scaled from theaters to arena runs, including the mainstage at Coachella.
Working from a brand brief built around the fragrance's three pillars (destruction, construction, creation), Nitemind designed and produced a linear, multi-room VIP experience for the launch at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. Guests moved through a dying fluorescent light tunnel, an immersive video room, and a sculptural laser piece. The final rotunda choreographed scent, texture, spatial sound, and light as a single composition. Concept, lighting design, custom fabrication, programming, on-site execution. All in-house.
The ownership team came to Nitemind for a new direction, something that pushed beyond our existing catalog. Starting from a single material they'd chosen, perforated plywood, Nitemind built the visual language of the Sound Room from the ground up, shaping the lighting identity of a room built for serious listening and live performance alike. It set the tone for an ongoing creative partnership: architectural lighting and consulting across every space in the venue, indoor and out.
